Three ways to pay for it. One of them fits.
A new roof, impact windows or a kitchen shouldn't wait for savings. Proper Roofing offers PACE financing repaid on your tax bill, and consumer loans through GoodLeap and Service Finance with fixed rates from 2.99% APR and terms of 5 to 20 years, including options for lower credit scores. $0 down on every path.
Choose a path
All three are $0 down. The difference is how you qualify and how you repay.
PACE
Repaid on your property-tax bill
- $0 down, no minimum credit score: approval is based on home equity and tax history
- Fixed rate, 10–20 year terms, set by the PACE provider at signing
- Roofs, impact windows and doors and other hurricane-hardening work; not kitchens or baths
- Balance can transfer to the buyer if you sell
Best for: homeowners with equity who want no payment until the next tax bill, or who have been turned down by a bank.
GoodLeap
Monthly payment, approval in minutes
- Soft credit pull to see your options; decision usually in minutes
- Fixed rates typically 2.99%–13.45% APR, 5–20 year terms
- Roofs, windows, kitchens, bathrooms, pergolas: any project we do
- No prepayment penalty
Best for: good credit, a predictable monthly payment, and projects PACE doesn't cover.
Service Finance
Flexible credit, promotional plans
- Options for a wider range of credit profiles, including lower scores
- Fixed rates typically 2.99%–13.45% APR, 5–20 year terms; promotional plans on some programs
- Any project we do, residential
- No prepayment penalty
Best for: homeowners who want a second opinion on approval, or a promotional plan.

Illustration only. GoodLeap and Service Finance rates range from 2.99% to 13.45% APR over 5–20 years; your rate and approval depend on credit and the program. PACE terms are set by the PACE provider and are not shown here. Not a loan offer.
How it works
- 1
Tell us the project
Get your written estimate first, so you know the number you're financing.
- 2
Pick a path
PACE through the tax bill, or a GoodLeap / Service Finance loan. We can run both so you can compare.
- 3
Apply in minutes
A soft credit pull shows your options without affecting your score. Most decisions come back the same day.
- 4
We start, you pay monthly
The lender pays us as the work completes. Your first payment is typically 30–60 days after funding, or on the next tax bill for PACE.
Financing questions
Does applying hurt my credit score?
No. GoodLeap and Service Finance start with a soft credit inquiry to show your options. A hard inquiry happens only if you accept a loan. PACE does not use a credit score at all.
What credit score do I need?
PACE has no minimum score; it looks at home equity and your property-tax history. GoodLeap and Service Finance each cover a range of profiles, and Service Finance has programs for lower scores. We can run both to see which approves you on the best terms.
Can I pay it off early?
Yes. The consumer loans have no prepayment penalty. PACE assessments can be prepaid; the provider may charge a small administrative fee.
Which projects qualify?
The consumer loans cover anything we do: roofing, impact windows and doors, kitchens, bathrooms, pergolas, driveways. PACE covers hurricane-hardening and energy improvements such as roofs and impact windows, not interior remodels.
Who are the lenders?
PACE is administered by Florida PACE and Renew Financial, with Proper Roofing as an approved contractor. GoodLeap and Service Finance are national home-improvement lenders; the loan is between you and the lender, and Proper Roofing is paid by them when the work is done.
