Same house. Storm-ready.

Drag the handle. Impact windows change how a house looks as much as how it holds up: slimmer frames, bigger glass, no shutters, no bars.

Why South Florida homeowners switch

Hurricane protection

Laminated glass that holds together when hit. Tested for Florida's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (Miami-Dade and Broward) against large and small missile impact.

Lower electric bills

Low-E laminated glass blocks heat and UV. Homes stay cooler in summer, the AC runs less, and the street is quieter.

Insurance savings

Opening protection is one of the biggest line items on a wind-mitigation report. We hand you the paperwork for your insurer.

No shutters, ever

Nothing to put up before a storm or take down after. Security against break-ins year-round.

Home value

Impact windows and doors are expected by buyers in South Florida and show up in appraisals.

$0-down financing

Impact windows qualify for PACE: no credit score, fixed rate, paid through the property tax bill over 10–20 years. GoodLeap and Service Finance loans too.

What we install

What it could take off your insurance

Impact windows and doors on every opening are one of the biggest hurricane discounts Florida insurers give.

How much could your insurance drop?

Already getting wind credits? Your declarations page lists them; your new savings are the credits you don't have yet.

Estimate only. Florida's wind-mitigation discounts apply to the hurricane portion of the premium; homes built to the 2001 code (1994 South Florida code in Miami-Dade and Broward) qualify for at least 68% off it (Florida CFO). Other ranges come from a Florida insurer's published discount notice; discounts don't add up and are capped at 89%. Your insurer sets the real discount from a wind-mitigation inspection; we provide the documents your agent asks for.

Florida law requires insurers to discount the hurricane portion of your premium for features that reduce storm damage. On a Florida insurer's published schedule, hurricane-rated protection on every opening ranges from 39% to 87% off that portion, depending on the rest of the house.

After the county's final inspection we provide the documents your agent asks for, so the discount can be applied. More about the discounts →

How it works

  1. 1

    Measure & quote

A tech measures every opening and you get a per-opening price in writing. No pressure, no deposit for the visit.

  2. 2

    Permit & NOA

We pull the Miami-Dade or Broward permit and submit the Notice of Acceptance for each product.

  3. 3

    Install

Most homes take 1–3 days. Old windows out, new ones in, stucco patched, debris hauled.

  4. 4

    Inspect & paperwork

County final inspection, then the wind-mitigation documents for your insurance discount.

Impact window questions

Do impact windows really lower my insurance?

Usually, yes. Florida insurers must give credits for wind-mitigation features, and opening protection is one of the largest. After the final inspection we provide the documentation for your wind-mitigation report.

Can I finance windows with PACE?

Yes. Impact windows and doors are eligible hurricane-hardening improvements under Florida PACE: $0 down, no credit score, fixed rate, repaid on the property tax bill. GoodLeap and Service Finance monthly loans are available too.

How long does installation take?

Most single-family homes take one to three days on site once the windows arrive. Manufacturing lead time is typically several weeks; we schedule the install when the order lands.

Do I need a permit?

Yes, in every South Florida county, and we pull it. Each product needs a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance, which Mr. Glass units carry.
